We are committed to building a high-performing team of talented professionals who share our passion for innovation and excellence. **Job Description** As a Full Stack Mainframe Operation Support Specialist - Night Shift (100% Remote), you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for our clients' mainframe operations. This is a long-term contract position that requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in mainframe batch support and related fine transfers, as well as experience in mainframe IPLs and MVS Systems. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide 24/7 support for mainframe operations, including batch processing, job scheduling, and system monitoring * Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe-related issues in a timely and efficient manner * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements * Develop and maintain documentation for mainframe operations, including procedures, scripts, and technical notes * Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed * Stay up-to-date with the latest mainframe technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve operations and support **Essential Qualifications** * At least 10 years of experience in mainframe batch support and related fine transfers * Experience in mainframe IPLs and MVS Systems * Strong knowledge of mainframe operating systems, including z/OS and z/VM * Proficiency in mainframe programming languages, including COBOL, PL/1, and JCL * Experience with mainframe job scheduling and automation tools, such as CA 7 and Tivoli * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with mainframe security and compliance, including access control and auditing * Knowledge of mainframe data management and storage, including DFSMS and z/OS DFSMS * Experience with mainframe performance monitoring and optimization, including z/OS and z/VM * Familiarity with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices * Certification in mainframe technologies, such as IBM Certified System Administrator - z/OS or IBM Certified System Programmer - z/OS **Skills and Competencies** * Strong technical skills in mainframe operation support, including batch processing, job scheduling, and system monitoring * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy * Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest mainframe technologies and trends **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At NJTECH, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
