**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our Customer Systems team. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with cross-functional groups across careerzynith to design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient solutions. You'll be responsible for working independently, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and deploy complex Java applications, including backend systems, APIs, and microservices
* Collaborate with business stakeholders, application owners, designers, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver solutions
* Develop and maintain large-scale, high-performance web applications using Java, Spring, and other relevant technologies
* Design and implement data storage solutions, including database design and data access patterns
* Develop and deploy REST-based APIs and web services for web applications and mobile clients
* Ensure the security and reliability of distributed applications
* Train and mentor junior team members
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in designing and developing complex Java applications
* Proficiency in Java, Spring, and other relevant technologies
* Experience with database design, data access patterns, and data storage solutions
* Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and deployment
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS or Azure
* Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts
* Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
* Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
* Experience with training and mentoring junior team members
**Skills and Competencies**
* Strong programming skills in Java, including design patterns, testing, and deployment
* Experience with Spring, REST, and other relevant technologies
