**A Day in the Role**
As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Processing various medical documents, including Independent Medical Reviews
* Extracting data from documents and entering it into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
* Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion
* Using critical thinking skills to determine next steps and reach out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
* Providing excellent customer service and client coordination over the phone
* Meeting productivity and quality standards in a metrics-driven environment
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* At least 1 year of remote work experience
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Reliable high-speed internet
* Your own computer or laptop (no Chromebooks)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work in a metrics/quota driven environment
* Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred
**Schedule**
Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. You will be expected to work independently and manage your time effectively to meet productivity and quality standards.
**Equipment and Software**
You will need to have access to the following equipment and software:
* Reliable high-speed internet
* Your own computer or laptop (no Chromebooks)
* Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
* Other software and tools as required by the role
