Experienced Full Stack Financial Planning Systems Analyst – Hyperion Planning & Essbase Development (Part Time/Remote)

About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning Systems Analyst to join our team in the Financial Planning Systems space. As a Senior Analyst, you'll play a critical role in supporting and developing our financial systems applications, providing expert advice to stakeholders, and driving automation opportunities. Key Responsibilities Support and develop financial systems applications, including Hyperion planning and Essbase, to meet the needs of the finance organization Serve as an internal consultant to stakeholders, identifying automation opportunities and developing effective solutions Maintain and support the Hyperion planning application, ensuring accurate and timely financial data Validate data from Hyperion Financial Management and regulators, resolving issues and discrepancies as needed Investigate and resolve complex data issues, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions Provide support to clients with system issues, existing reports, structures, and models Assist with the preparation of in-depth situation and outcome analyses on complex financial issues and competitive industry analyses Facilitate and complete the monthly headcount process in Hyperion Update Hyperion Planning with order changes, coordinating with regulators and GL organization Collaborate with stakeholders to determine reporting business requirements, proposing and presenting efficient solutions Develop Essbase cubes, planning applications, reports, and forecasting and planning models for finance departments Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent experience/training 2+ years of work experience in a finance role, including experience with financial statements, financial modeling, and analysis Strong IT foundation, including experience with Hyperion and multi-faceted and social database structures Preferred Qualifications: Experience utilizing Hyperion, including development and administration experience (including Intelligent Reporting, Essbase, Planning) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in diverse environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Skills and Competencies Ability to adapt and be flexible in the application of analytical methodologies relating to financial issues Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data and identify solutions Attention to detail, with focus on accuracy and ability to prioritize tasks Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with stakeholders Strong business acumen, with understanding of finance and accounting principles Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
