Job Summary As a Senior Financial Accounting Analyst at Blithequark, you will be responsible for supporting the Corporate Bookkeeping team in managing our financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, month-end close processes, and intercompany transactions. You will work closely with senior leadership and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial management. Key Responsibilities Assist in the maintenance of general ledger accounts and month-end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries for intercompany disposals, allocations, and related-party transactions. Prepare and review reconciliations for key accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis and perform variance analyses. Monitor intercompany accounts, address out-of-balance issues, and work with intercompany teams to resolve discrepancies. Track related-party transactions throughout the fiscal year and perform valuation analyses to ensure arm's-length transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Substance Finance, Legal, and Controllership, to obtain necessary supporting documentation. Work closely with the Supervisor, Financial Accounting - Corporate on ad-hoc projects and initiatives. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including financial schedules and footnotes. Research technical accounting questions and develop accounting policies to report changes in accounting treatment. Support internal and external audits by responding to requests and attending status meetings. Essential Qualifications 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate. Preferred Qualifications A combination of public and private industry experience. Experience with SAP or other financial systems. Media or technology industry experience. CPA certification. Education and Training Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
