You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues, optimize database performance, and ensure data integrity and security. Your expertise in database administration, data analysis, and problem-solving will enable you to make a significant impact on our business operations and drive growth. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain database schema, data models, and data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives * Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions * Develop and implement data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders * Collaborate with development teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business requirements * Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance optimization, data recovery, and security breaches * Develop and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries, schema diagrams, and technical documentation * Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in database administration and data analytics **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 4+ years of experience in database administration, data analysis, and problem-solving * Proficiency in SQL, database design, and data modeling * Experience with database management systems, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with cloud-based database platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure * Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence tools, including Tableau and Power BI * Familiarity with scripting languages, including Python, PowerShell, and SQL * Experience with data visualization tools, including D3.js and Matplotlib * Certification in database administration, data analysis, or related field **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and quality * Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities, with a flexible and collaborative mindset * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, database design, and data modeling **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
