**Job Responsibilities**
As a Staff Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:
* **Data Source Identification**: Identify and extract relevant data sources, define data requirements, and perform preliminary data quality checks.
* **Problem Formulation**: Analyze business problems, identify key assumptions, and develop data-driven solutions to drive business growth.
* **Analytical Modeling**: Develop and deploy machine learning models, conduct exploratory data analysis, and identify key metrics to measure model performance.
* **Model Deployment & Scaling**: Work with MLOps to push ML models to production, continuously log and track model performance, and identify areas for improvement.
* **Code Development & Testing**: Write code to develop and deploy data-driven solutions, create test cases, and validate proposed solutions.
* **Applied Business Acumen**: Evaluate business cases, influence stakeholder decision-making, and translate business requirements into data-driven strategies.
* **Model Assessment & Validation**: Identify and evaluate model assessment metrics, apply testing and tuning strategies to evaluate model accuracy and robustness.
* **Data Visualization and Storytelling**: Develop data visualizations, create compelling stories, and present insights to various audiences.
**What You'll Bring**
* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* 4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field, with a strong background in machine learning, statistics, and data science.
* Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
* Ability to execute projects from start to finish, implement best practices in ML Ops, and communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience in working with large datasets, developing and deploying machine learning models, and evaluating model performance.
