**Job Responsibilities**
As a Full Stack Data Scientist on our Data Ventures team, you'll be responsible for leading the development and deployment of data science and analytics solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences. Your primary focus will be on Customer Data Science initiatives, which may be short-term or long-term based on business needs. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business stakeholders, to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business impact.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* **Data Source Identification:** Identify and extract relevant data sources, define data requirements, and perform preliminary data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* **Problem Formulation:** Analyze business problems, identify key drivers, and develop data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
* **Analytical Modeling:** Develop and deploy machine learning models to drive real-world impact, using techniques such as predictive modeling, clustering, and decision trees.
* **Model Deployment & Scaling:** Work with MLOps to push ML models to production, continuously log and track model performance, and identify areas for improvement.
* **Code Development & Testing:** Write code to develop and deploy data-driven solutions, using languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
* **Applied Business Acumen:** Evaluate business cases for initiatives and projects, influence business stakeholder decision-making, and translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
* **Model Assessment & Validation:** Identify and evaluate model assessment metrics, apply appropriate testing and tuning strategies, and ensure testing records are documented and maintained.
* **Data Visualization and Storytelling:** Develop compelling stories and visualizations to communicate complex data insights to business stakeholders and drive behavioral change.
**What You'll Bring**
* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* 4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field, with a strong background in data science and machine learning.
* Deep knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and data science, with experience in developing and deploying data-driven solutions.
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
* Ability to execute projects from start to finish, including junior team members.
* Implement best practices in ML Ops, coding standards, and data quality.
* Clearly communicate with business, product, and application partners.
* Ability to translate complex algorithm evaluations into simple language.
* Ability to present to management and external clients.
