As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and executing robust and reproducible statistical analyses to drive insights and discoveries in the clinical research space. You'll work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement innovative data science solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and execute robust and reproducible statistical analyses to drive insights and discoveries in the clinical research space * Collaborate with our team of experts to develop and implement innovative data science solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders * Work with large datasets from various sources, including in-house data resources and authorized platforms * Develop and maintain high-quality, interpretable dashboards, reports, and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders * Conduct thorough literature reviews and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and clinical research * Develop and maintain expertise in multiple data science tools and technologies, including R, Python, SQL, and data visualization platforms * Collaborate with our team to design and execute results research studies * Ensure high-quality, thorough, and interpretable results from RWE reviews and investigations * Conduct a reasonable level of effort on new certified data suppliers and drive RWD quality evaluations to inform project decisions **Essential Capabilities** * Experience in designing and executing robust and reproducible statistical analyses in the context of clinical research and observational studies * Knowledge of standard statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, clustering and dimensionality reduction, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis * Experience handling large datasets from multiple sources * Experience working with sensitive patient health data * Knowledge of at least one of the following: R, Python, SQL, or other data science tools and technologies * Experience with data visualization platforms, including Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other BI insight tools **Preferred Capabilities** * PhD, Graduate degree in statistics/biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field * Skill in EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and claims data sets * Ability in clinical data standards, clinical terminologies, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode) * Experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) as well as regulatory compliance rules for real-world evidence studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR) * Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology platforms and solutions * Experience with experimental design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics * Understanding of machine learning and AI techniques, ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work with a leading innovator in the healthcare industry * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Access to cutting-edge data science tools and technologies * Opportunity to work on high-impact projects that drive meaningful insights and discoveries **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and talented Data Scientist looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
