As a Data Entry Technician, you'll be responsible for supporting employees in all aspects of end-user computing, including software/hardware installations, upgrades, and general maintenance of PC workstations and peripherals. **What You'll Do** - Resolve and close tickets/work orders supporting end-user workstations and peripherals - Answer customer care issues raised from the Helpdesk - Contribute to workstation projects (global installations/renovations) as a project team member - Remotely resolve and close demands using remote tools - Investigate and collaborate with other departments to assist with system-related issues - Record customer interactions in incident management software, including resource management - Recover data from hard drives or perform data migration - Maintain remote access for virtual private network (VPN) availability as well as remote/broadband network for workstations - Install and design local and network-based printers - Perform security support - Work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, ready to come in case of an emergency and travel as required - Follow management direction, complying with IT strategy and procedures - Perform other duties as mentioned - Venture, as required **All You'll Need for Success** - Minimum Capabilities Education and Prior Professional Training - Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Data Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience/training - 2 years of certified 'active' IT work experience supporting and resolving various PC workstation software and hardware issues - First-hand experience supporting workstations in a Windows/TCPIP environment - Preferred Capabilities Training and Prior Professional Training - A+ certification - MCSE/MCP or higher - Past IT foundation experience in Aircraft/Airport climate - Skills, Licenses, and Certificates - General knowledge of all Windows-based operating systems, including Windows 10 - Knowledge of workflow and with tagging systems - Knowledge of VPN network and ability to investigate issues - Ability to work independently and act in a cooperative, team-based environment - Ability to lift at least 50 pounds **What You'll Get** - Take advantage of everything blithequark has to offer: Medical Benefits On the very first day, you'll access your health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits to help you stay great.
