**Job Responsibilities**

As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:

* Accurately reading, interpreting, and entering medication orders into our computer system, including dosage calculations and task assignments
* Contacting healthcare providers and insurance companies to verify the accuracy of patient medication orders
* Occasionally, you will be responsible for answering patient calls to arrange and manage new patient medication requests and reorders, which includes verifying and re-verifying benefits
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient medication orders and interactions
* Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow

**Key Requirements**

* A valid Arizona Pharmacy Technician License
* At least 6 months of experience working in a pharmacy setting
* At least 6 months of experience working with Windows-Based applications, such as Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
* Strong keyboarding skills and preference for sitting or standing for the duration of the shift (8-10 hours)
* Ability to use a computer and keyboard while performing the essential duties of this role

**Preferred Qualifications**

* At least 6 months of experience as a pharmacy technician
* At least 90 days of experience handling and resolving customer needs via telephone
* Experience in healthcare, benefits, and insurance
* Experience with clinical charging, coding, and other clinical support roles
* Customer service experience in an office setting
* At least 6 months of professional work experience, including inbound and outbound telephone customer care
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong knowledge of computer programs
* Amazing data entry skills
