If you're passionate about delivering exceptional patient experiences and have a knack for data entry, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide compassionate patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, interactions, contraindications, and patient data security * Offer preventive and clinical medical care services, including vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and patient results services * Ensure accurate compounding, administration, audit, and verification of prescribed medications within regulatory guidelines, company policies, and procedures * Uphold the efficient workflow of the pharmacy and collaborate with the pharmacy manager to identify opportunities for process improvements, financial optimization, and enhanced patient experience * Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to ensure a positive patient experience * Participate in community outreach activities to promote the arenaflex brand, enhance learning experiences, and improve overall well-being **Tasks:** * Advise patients and answer their inquiries regarding medication usage, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient data security, generics, affordable medications, over-the-counter items, and refer to clinical providers as necessary * Perform pharmacy tasks, including compounding, medication therapy management, and medication management * Review, interpret, and accurately administer prescribed medications as required * Ensure the pharmacy operates in accordance with guidelines, company policies, and standards * Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to establish strategies that promote efficient workflow, including delegating tasks, planning activities, and soliciting colleague feedback * Ensure the accurate handling of all components of the arenaflex Apportioning strategy related to state and government-controlled substance regulations while filling prescriptions * Maintain current knowledge of data technology related to pharmacy systems, including workflow, prescription fulfillment, billing, clinical documentation, training, stock management, and retail location registers to support patients and pharmacy staff * Seek opportunities to improve efficiency and advance professional development **Individuals and Performance Management:** * Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to develop and implement staff training programs, provide constructive feedback, and encourage colleague growth and development * Foster a culture of collaboration and inspire colleagues by establishing expectations, recognizing progress, and promoting a shared vision * Participate in performance management activities, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and professional development planning **Preparation and Self-Awareness:** * Maintain current knowledge and required licensure/credentialing/ certification as outlined by government and state regulations to provide such clinical services * Stay up-to-date with current knowledge and skills related to pharmacy and healthcare by reading pharmacy-related journals, company publications, and communications * Pursue professional development by attending training programs, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge * Seek feedback and constructive criticism to improve performance and advance professional growth **Essential Capabilities:** * Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technician from an accredited educational institution * Current pharmacy licensure in the states within the region * Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant state and government-controlled substance regulations * Immunization certification or ability to become certified within 90 days of hire **Preferred Capabilities:** * At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance * Strong knowledge of pharmacy software and technology systems, including workflow, prescription fulfillment, billing, clinical documentation, training, stock management, and retail location registers **About arenaflex and its Benefits:** arenaflex is a well-established American pharmaceutical retailer and company, founded in 1901 in Chicago, Illinois.
