Job Summary As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in creating and maintaining reports, providing department insights on performance, and building data models to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with our technology team to ensure business needs are met and data warehouse solutions are implemented effectively. Key Responsibilities Create new, modify existing, and execute ad-hoc reports to support business operations and data-driven decision-making. Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI and Excel to provide actionable insights. Establish and implement data quality specifications and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility. Design and develop new report pipelines from source systems to the data warehouse. Collaborate with management and business analysts to understand business requirements, maintain documentation, and obtain sign-offs for all reporting requirements. Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable report pipelines and data designs. Apply data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI. Assist in automating existing business processes and enhancing exception-based reporting. Work with IT and business analysts to investigate, research, and acquire new data variables. Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful patterns and provide actionable insights. Validate data accuracy by verifying against standards and resolving conflicts. Investigate data errors and remediate poor data quality. Contribute to the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and policies & procedures. Analyze and affirm metrics are effective and provide feedback to division leaders on trends that require attention. Essential Qualifications 2+ years of experience in in-depth data analysis. Strong experience working with Power BI, including creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and M Code. Skilled in SQL, with the ability to write complex SQL queries to generate reports and analytics. Experience with ETL tools, including SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other big data integrations. Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methods. Problem-solving skills through statistical analysis with large datasets. Expertise with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query. Experience with Smartsheets. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a remote environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Experience with data governance and data quality.
