Founded in 1901 and headquartered in Deerfield, Illinois, arenaflex operates a vast network of retail drugstores, offering a wide range of products, including prescription medications, over-the-counter tablets, health and wellness merchandise, cosmetics, and convenience items. **Job Description** As an Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Accurately inputting, updating, and managing essential data within arenaflex's systems * Assisting pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the exercise of pharmacy, under direct supervision * Using pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information and process prescriptions * Resolving customer issues and providing assistance with services and products * Modeling and sharing excellent customer service practices with all team members * Developing strong relationships with valuable customers * Performing duties as assigned by the Pharmacy manager, personnel Pharmacist, and store supervisor * Reporting prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhering to company rules and procedures * Registering all related income on assigned cash register, collecting and handling coins as required * Handling telephone calls that do not require the personal attention of the pharmacist * Processing guide claims for third-party prescription services in a timely and efficient manner * Assisting and supporting Pharmacy department on stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription drugs * Maintaining knowledge of company asset safety procedures and documenting claims for warehouse overages, shortages, order mistakes, or broken goods related to Rx capsules * Assisting pharmacists in administering medical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other medical services as required * Assisting pharmacy staff in coordination of medical services, Walgreens healthcare clinics, and external vendors * Assisting Pharmacy supervisor and personnel Pharmacist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers * Assisting with outdoor and indoor maintenance by ensuring the pharmacy department is stocked with sufficient supplies, clean, neat, and orderly in appearance **Education & Personal Development** * Earns and maintains PTCB certification through the unique PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration * Attends training and completes PPLs asked by manager and acquires continuing education credit * Maintains expertise and knowledge in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest information and developments * Through completion of the arenaflex pharmacy technician apprenticeship program, experience qualifies for 8 (8) college credit hours as recognized by the American Council on Education (ACE) **Basic Qualifications** * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * Must have a high school diploma or equivalent **Preferred Qualifications** * Choose six months of experience in retail settings * Choose to have previous work experience with arenaflex * Desire math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications * Desire computer skills * Desire knowledge of store inventory management * Prefer PTCB certification **Work Environment & Company Culture** arenaflex is proud to invest and champion an "earn while you learn" pharmacy technician training program recognized by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and the Department of Labor.
