We're committed to innovation, creativity, and collaboration, and we're always looking for talented individuals who share our vision. **Job Summary** As the Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you will lead two critical teams: the Adversarial Abuse group and the Business Analytics group. The Adversarial Abuse group is responsible for identifying and eliminating malicious actors who attempt to compromise user accounts, spread spam, and engage in other forms of abuse. The Business Analytics group produces insights, estimates uncaught badnesses, and distributes Transparency Reports for countries around the world. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the Adversarial Abuse group in identifying and eliminating malicious actors, including account takeovers, spam, commitment misuse, and other forms of abuse * Collaborate with the Business Analytics group to produce insights, estimate uncaught badnesses, and distribute Transparency Reports for countries around the world * Understand, anticipate, and intelligently moderate risks from new, scaling industry patterns (e.g., generative AI) * Work with the Strategy Development group to create policies using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior * Deliver high-quality and productive operational execution (e.g., quality, service levels) in a global team working 24x7 * Attract, retain, develop, and foster exceptional talent * Manage accelerations with quick turnaround times required to circle back, provide data-driven insights, and implement solutions while building relationships with key cross-functional partners to launch new products and policies that effectively prevent adversarial abuse **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics) * Four-year certification or equivalent practical experience * 2+ years of experience working with risk management, abuse fighting at scale, and building/conveying analytical models * 2+ years of experience working with design teams that build data infrastructure and ML models * 2+ years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard workweeks as accelerations require * Preferred qualifications: + Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., research, design, data science) + 2+ years of experience with investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection + Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities + Knowledge of SQL/R/Matlab + Exceptional influencing and leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners + Outstanding business judgment, critical, and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action with the ability to work in a rapidly changing industry and manage ambiguity while minimizing uncertainty through quantitative insights **Work Environment and Culture** arenaflex is a remote-friendly company that values flexibility, autonomy, and work-life balance.
