* Responding quickly to errors reported by users and taking prompt action to resolve issues.
* Protecting our database from unauthorized access and attacks, using adequate data backup and transaction recovery techniques.
* Providing support and training to users for proactively managing data.
* Analyzing the performance of our database systems by performing tests and reporting metrics.
* Identifying new ways to protect and improve our database systems, as required.
**Job Skills:**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a related field.
* Complete knowledge of data recovery, backup, and security.
* Familiarity with database designing and manipulation languages, such as MySQL and Oracle.
* Working experience with database administration tools and other third-party tools.
* Good problem-solving ability and analytical mindset.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Good organization skills and a reliable personality.
