Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Clerk – Remote Analyst Position with Global Retail Pharmacy Leader

Join the Team at blithequark: Pioneering Excellence in Retail Pharmacy blithequark, a global leader in retail pharmacy, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our Merchandise Planning Analytics team on a 6-month contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion. As a Remote Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our team of 100+ merchants and 40+ planners to optimize performance across our Front End (non-Pharmacy) businesses. About Our Team and Mission The blithequark Merchandise Planning Analytics team is dedicated to managing reporting, analysis, and tool building for the Merchandising team. Our goal is to provide actionable insights that drive business growth and improvement. Work Environment We offer a 100% remote work arrangement for this position, requiring you to work in Central Standard Time (CST). Our standard working hours are 8am-5pm, with a one-hour lunch break from 12pm-1pm. While flexibility is available, you must be able to work at least 30 hours per week to meet business needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, recaps, and analyses for Own Brand (private label) products, including ad-hoc analysis based on business requirements. Conduct item-level historical analysis and recapping to inform business decisions. Create item-level future-looking forecasts to drive strategic planning. Work with thousands of Own Brand items at the item level, utilizing Excel as the primary system/tool. Apply complex Excel formulas and synthesize large data sets into meaningful executive recaps. Collaborate with Merchandising, Planning, Finance, and other stakeholders to develop effective working relationships. Manage and prioritize multiple assignments, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work. Work independently and adapt to changing work priorities in a fast-paced environment. Essential Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., analytics, data science, finance, financial analysis, assortment planning, retail, procurement/purchasing, merchandising). Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following: analytics, data science, finance, financial analysis, assortment planning, retail, procurement/purchasing, merchandising. Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics or a related field with a strong understanding of retail merchandising basics, including category management and merchandising organization structures and processes. Skills and Competencies: Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively. Strong storytelling finesse, with the ability to present findings via Microsoft PowerPoint. Ability to conduct complex quantitative analysis and build analytical models using Microsoft Excel. Intermediate/Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel, including SUM/SUMIFS, Subtotals, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Macros, and Pivot tables. Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Retail math background, with skills such as item-level forecasting based on demand patterns or sell-through/sales/profit goals. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Education: MBA preferred. Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), and/or other quantitative analytical degree a plus. Experience: Data science experience. Retail experience. Skills: SQL coding. Microsoft Access.
