Job Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at Walgreens, you will be responsible for:
Developing and maintaining software applications that store, serve, and analyze data for business insights.
Designing and implementing data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data for reporting and analytics purposes.
Writing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) scripts, designing database systems, and developing tools for real-time and offline analytic processing.
Developing scalable, repeatable, and secure data pipelines that meet business requirements.
Troubleshooting software applications and data pipelines to ensure data consistency and integrity.
Integrating data from multiple sources, ensuring that it meets data quality and accessibility standards.
Effectively resolving problems and roadblocks as they occur.
Interacting with internal and external stakeholders to communicate semi-complex information related to assigned activities.

Basic Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
At least 1 year of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field.
Advanced expertise in SQL, including data modeling, querying, and optimization.
Experience setting up and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality service.
Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify problems, trends, or exceptions and drive business improvement.
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes, both within and outside of the state.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
Graduate degree in a technical discipline, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
Experience with REST API development, Azure software deployment, and Azure data engineering tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Functions.
Experience building Azure DevOps pipelines to enable CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaaS), and automation.
