Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our event-driven data pipelines on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS native event-driven services, such as Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions. They will also have experience with data engineering best practices, including data modeling, data quality, and data security. Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in Python, NoSQL, and Kinesis.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain event-driven data pipelines on AWS
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define data requirements
Implement data quality checks and monitoring
Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost
Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS advancements
Develop and implement personalization algorithms using Python and Pydantic models
Design and maintain DynamoDB tables and NoSQL databases
Utilize Amazon Kinesis to collect, process, and analyze streaming data

What Will Give You an Edge
While not required, the following qualifications and experiences will give you a competitive edge:


Four-year degree in computer science, data science, or a related field
3+ years of experience in data engineering
Strong understanding of AWS native event-driven services
Experience with data modeling, data quality, and data security
Experience with Python and serverless technologies
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with personalization, Python, Pydantic models, DynamoDB, and NoSQL
Experience with Amazon Kinesis
