As a Lead Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data solutions that meet the needs of our business. You'll work closely with our data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop innovative solutions that drive business growth. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and develop large-scale data solutions that meet the needs of our business * Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses using Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake, and other technologies * Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop innovative solutions * Develop and maintain high-quality documentation of data solutions and changes to ensure data quality and data governance * Ensure high functional productivity and quality of solutions to meet SLAs and support our clients (Data Science, Data Analysis groups) * Participate in agile/scrum practice to ensure team health and cycle improvements * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our data solutions remain competitive and innovative **Key Capabilities** * Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract data and build performant datasets * Experience with distributed systems like Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process data * Strong programming skills in Python, Java/Scala * Experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology (Snowflake, Redshift, Large Query) * Strong experience with data integration toolsets (i.e. Wind current) and writing and maintaining data pipelines * Strong knowledge of data modeling strategies and data warehousing standard practices * Familiarity with Scrum and Agile approaches * Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for learning and continuous improvement **Ideal Candidate** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field * Strong experience with cloud technologies like AWS (S3, EMR, EC2) * Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases * Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams * Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work with a leading provider of innovative solutions in the entertainment and media industry * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a team of passionate and talented individuals * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Flexible work arrangements and remote work options * Access to the latest technologies and tools to stay ahead of the curve **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and talented data engineer looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
