Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining our data infrastructure, including data warehousing, data pipelines, and data analytics. You will work closely with our Information Item Chiefs, Information Modelers, and Information Architects to ensure that our data solutions are scalable, efficient, and meet the highest standards of quality. **Key Responsibilities:** * Contribute to the design and development of our data items and data distribution centers around Commitment and Maintenance Examination and Information Science * Plan and develop flexible data warehousing solutions, building ETL pipelines in Large Data conditions (cloud, on-prem, hybrid) * Our tech stack includes Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake, Flink, and Windstream, and languages include Python, Scala * Help engineer data solutions/structures and define data models for the core data warehouse and data shops * Collaborate with Data Item Chiefs, Data Modelers, and Data Architects to design, implement, and deliver successful data solutions * Maintain detailed documentation of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data administration * Ensure high operational productivity and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support our commitment to our clients (Data Science, Data Analysis groups) * Be an active member and advocate of agile/scrum practice to ensure safety and cycle improvements for your team **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract data and build performant datasets * Experience with distributed systems like Flink, Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process data * Strong programming skills in Python, Java/Scala * Experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology (Snowflake, Redshift, Large Query) * Strong involvement in data integration toolsets (i.e. Windstream) and writing and maintaining data pipelines * Strong knowledge of Data Modeling strategies and Data Warehousing standard practices and procedures * Familiarity with Scrum and Agile approaches **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with cloud technologies like AWS (S3, EMR, EC2) * Strong problem-solving skills with excellent analytical and relational abilities * Experience with data visualization tools and technologies * Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools * Flexible work arrangements and remote work options **How to Apply:** If you're a motivated and talented data engineer looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
