As a Lead Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about harnessing the power of data to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. **Job Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Lead Data Engineer to join our Information and Investigation group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of data solutions that power our web-based features and applications. Your expertise will be critical in shaping the future of data-driven decision-making at arenaflex. **Key Responsibilities:** * Contribute to the design and development of our data items and data warehouses, focusing on data examination and information science * Plan and develop flexible data warehousing solutions, building ETL pipelines in large data environments (cloud, on-prem, hybrid) * Our tech stack includes Hadoop, AWS, Snowflake, Flink, and Windstream, with languages including Python, Scala * Help engineer data solutions/structures and define data models for the core data warehouse and data shops * Collaborate with Data Product Managers, Data Modelers, and Data Architects to design, implement, and deliver successful data solutions * Maintain detailed documentation of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data governance * Ensure high operational productivity and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support our clients (Data Science, Data Analysis groups) * Be a proactive member and advocate of agile/scrum practices to ensure well-being and cycle enhancements for your team **Key Capabilities:** * Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract data and build performant datasets * Experienced insight with distributed systems like Flink, Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process data * Strong programming skills in Python, Java/Scala * Experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) * Strong involvement in data integration toolsets (i.e. Windstream) and writing and maintaining data pipelines * Strong in Data Modeling strategies and Data Warehousing standard systems and practices * Familiarity with Scrum and Agile approaches * You are a problem solver with strong empathy and excellent logical and relational skills * Ideal to have experience with cloud advances like AWS (S3, EMR, EC2) **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary of $24/hour * Opportunity to work with a leading innovator in the entertainment and media industry * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools * Opportunities to work on high-profile projects and contribute to the company's success **How to Apply:** If you are a motivated and experienced data professional looking for a new challenge, please submit your application, including your resume and cover letter, to [insert contact information].
