You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design and implement data engineering solutions, and ensure seamless integration with our existing systems. Your expertise in cloud technologies, data platforms, and analytics tools will enable you to drive business outcomes and improve operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and deploy data engineering solutions using cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and design data engineering solutions that meet those needs * Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Apache Spark * Work with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy data models, data visualizations, and reporting tools * Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and applications * Develop and maintain coding standards, best practices, and documentation for data engineering solutions * Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of data engineering solutions * Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of data engineering solutions * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in data engineering solutions **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or related technical field * 1 year of experience in software development, data engineering, or related field * 1 year of experience in cloud development and data lake development using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Apache Spark * 1 year of experience in data analytics using tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Cognos * Strong understanding of cloud technologies, data platforms, and analytics tools * Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices * Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment **Preferred Qualifications** * 2 years of experience in software development, data engineering, or related field * 2 years of experience in cloud development and data lake development using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Apache Spark * 2 years of experience in data analytics using tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Cognos * Experience with Airline Industry * Strong understanding of data governance and privacy principles * Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos * Experience with data modeling tools such as Informatica Axon and EDC **Skills and Competencies** * Strong understanding of cloud technologies, data platforms, and analytics tools * Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices * Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Strong understanding of data governance and privacy principles * Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Cognos * Experience with data modeling tools such as Informatica Axon and EDC **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
