We are now looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and sustainment of data products for our Media business. Job Summary As a Data Engineer at Blithequark, you will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and sustain data products. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining data pipelines, databases, and data architectures that support our Media business. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure seamless data flow and insights. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data architectures Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to gather data requirements and develop data products Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across various data systems Develop and maintain automated workflows and data processing scripts Work with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of data products Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms Experience with multi-environment development (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOP practices Strong understanding of relational database design and functionality Experience with automated workflow schedulers and data processing scripts Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications will set you apart: Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar Proficiency in cloud architecture and product offerings, ideally AWS Experience with source control tools like GitLab/GitHub and Docker Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques What We Offer At Blithequark, we offer a competitive salary of $27/hour, along with: Opportunities for career growth and professional development Collaborative and dynamic work environment Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options Comprehensive benefits package Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance Why Join Blithequark?
