**The Role**
We are seeking an experienced full stack data engineer to join our Data Engineering team at careerzynith. As a data engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and support of our cloud-based data pipelines, ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and easily accessible to our stakeholders. You will work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and other teams to design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure, and to develop innovative solutions to complex data problems.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
* Work with large datasets and develop expertise in data warehousing, data governance, and data quality
* Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and deploy data models and machine learning algorithms
* Develop and maintain automated workflows and data pipelines using tools such as Docker, GitLab, and Wind stream
* Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with careerzynith's data governance policies and procedures
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering
* Provide technical guidance and support to other teams and stakeholders as needed
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Strong expertise in Python and SQL, with experience working with Snowflake and PostgreSQL
* Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Docker
* Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security
* Experience working with large datasets and developing expertise in data warehousing and data governance
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
* Experience with machine learning algorithms and data modeling
* Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
* Experience with automated testing and continuous integration
