**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at careerzynith. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support our Media business. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data pipelines, and implement solutions using a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, and GitLab.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support our Media business
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data pipelines, and implement solutions
* Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using SQL, Python, and other technologies
* Create and maintain data sets, tables, and views using data modeling techniques
* Deliver datasets as input to science models and visualizations
* Develop and maintain automated work schedulers to ensure data pipeline efficiency
* Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality and accuracy
* Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
* Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues in a timely and efficient manner
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
* 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
* Proficiency in Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
* Experience with creating in a multi-environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOPS strategies for code organization and development
* Experience creating and maintaining automated work schedulers
* Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS
* Proficiency in cloud design and product offerings, ideally AWS
* Experience overseeing and delivering code using a source control tool like GitLab/GitHub
* Experience using Docker
* Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
* Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
