**Job Summary**
As a Data Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for designing and operationalizing data pipelines to support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data services. You will work closely with data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify business requirements and design data pipelines that meet those needs. You will also be responsible for ensuring data quality, integrity, and security, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Design and operationalize data pipelines to support business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data services
* Work closely with data architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify business requirements and design data pipelines that meet those needs
* Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data validation, data transformation, and data quality checks
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions and drive business insights and decision-making
* Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and advanced analytics
* Work with cloud-based technologies, such as Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Databricks, to design and operationalize data pipelines
* Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IICS
* Collaborate with data engineers and data architects to design and implement data pipelines and data architectures
* Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to support business intelligence and decision-making
* Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code and best practices
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure arenaflex remains a leader in data engineering and analytics
**Essential Qualifications**
* 3+ years of experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets
* 3+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IICS
* 3+ years of experience working with cloud-based technologies, such as ADLS, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks
* 3+ years of experience working with data sources, such as SQL, Oracle database, flat files (csv, delimited), web services, and XML
* High-level SQL skills and strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
* Strong understanding of data integration methods and tools, such as ETL/ELT, data transformation, and data quality checks
* Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a focus on delivering high-quality results
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
**Preferred Qualifications**
* BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* Azure certifications
* Experience executing data integration strategies, such as event/message-based integration (Kafka, Azure Event Hub), ETL
* Experience with Git/Azure DevOps
* Experience conveying data solutions through agile software development processes
* Openness to the retail business
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Experience working with SAP integration tools, including SAP BW
* Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler
