**About the Role**

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines and infrastructure. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure that our data is accurate, reliable, and easily accessible. Your expertise will help us make data-driven decisions, drive business growth, and improve customer experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure data pipelines using a combination of local AWS services and Amazon internal tools and technologies.
* Collaborate with business partners to understand their requirements and work closely with them to ensure that data being ingested addresses their needs and is well-presented and coordinated to facilitate adaptable use and good data cleanliness.
* Learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and business needs, building and improving structures and processes, and incorporating new patterns and innovations where applicable.
* Gather and examine requirements from business partners across various verticals, such as Memberships, Deals, Invert Strategies, Money, Item, etc.
* Construct new data ingestions using a mix of local AWS services and internal Amazon devices.
* Maintain and improve existing data ingestions, ensuring they meet evolving guidelines and corporate standards.
* Build, improve, and maintain structures or tools for internal group and external partner use to manage data.
* Perform code audits and ensure best practices are followed for ETL and data cleanliness by colleagues and supporting teams.

**About the Team**

Our Ring Data Warehouse team is responsible for managing the integrated data repository for Ring. We collect and distribute data from various internal and external sources, which are used by different partners, such as Ring Item design, Money, Inventory network, Advertising, Customer service, and Deals data. We're open to hiring candidates to sort out of one of the following areas:

* Hawthorne, CA, USA

**Essential Capabilities**

* 3+ years of experience in data engineering
* Experience with data visualization, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
* Experience with SQL

**Preferred Capabilities**

* Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Paste, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM jobs and permissions
* Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
* Experience with non-relational databases/data stores (object storage, record or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)

**Compensation and Benefits**

Our compensation reflects the cost of living across multiple US geographic markets. The base salary for this position ranges from $105,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on various factors, including market area and may vary depending on work-related information, skills, and experience. arenaflex is a comprehensive pay organization. Subject to the position offered, value, sign-on payments, and other types of pay may be provided as part of a comprehensive pay package, in addition to a full range of clinical, financial, and other benefits.
