**Job Summary:**
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Science Analyst to join our Hunt and Suggestions Examination team. As a key member of this team, you'll work closely with a high-performing group of data scientists, AI engineers, and product managers to drive business growth through data-driven insights. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Designing, running, and analyzing the results of A/B tests of new suggestion algorithms and systems
* Developing new testing and testing analysis techniques to improve our product recommendations
* Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify new opportunities and inform our product recommendation strategy
* Collaborating with our in-house development team to design and implement new tools and features
* Communicating key insights and recommendations to cross-functional senior leaders across the organization
**Responsibilities:**
* Run unconditional exploratory data analysis to identify novel ideas and opportunities
* Plan and run A/B tests of our latest suggestion algorithms
* Proactively monitor our suggestion models to identify potential issues, determine underlying drivers, and resolve
* Develop new tools that enable us to be more efficient and productive
* Work closely and build strong relationships with our product, design, and AI partners
* Communicate key insights and recommendations to cross-functional senior leaders across the organization
**Requirements:**
* Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on web-based business organizations
* In-depth experience with SQL (total capabilities, query optimization, stored procedures, string parsing, Vertica/Hive/Voila/Flash, etc.)
* In-depth experience with Python and Python libraries (Jupyter notebook, libraries, pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, etc.)
* Experience with A/B testing and statistical analysis to drive business decisions, highly preferred
* Experience with AI algorithms/methods (decision trees, random forests, deep learning, etc.) within a business setting, highly preferred
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and cooperative demeanor
* Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with partners
* Demonstrated history of taking ownership and driving results in a fast-paced environment
* Strong business acumen, scientific skills, and technical abilities, along with critical thinking skills
