As a key member of our Data Ventures group, you will be responsible for researching, gathering, and analyzing client data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with our business and product partners to identify testing business issues and recognize patterns and valuable opportunities. Your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization will enable you to see beyond the numbers and provide significant insights that will shape the direction of our clients' processes. **Key Responsibilities** * Research, gather, and analyze client data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions * Collaborate with business and product partners to identify testing business issues and recognize patterns and valuable opportunities * Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data visualization to see beyond the numbers and provide significant insights * Define and assess key performance indicators for new product launches * Create data visualizations to monitor and measure the impact of product drives and special business challenges * Identify new switches to improve key financial data insights, understanding underlying drivers for change in metrics * Lead exploratory data analysis, including hypothesis testing, statistical derivation, and statistical analysis * Work with data stewards and data engineering teams to collect and handle accurate data from various sources * Work effectively cross-functionally and convey data and insights to non-technical business groups **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Research, Math, Arts, or related field * 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in Business, Software Engineering, Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Research, Math, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field * Related industry experience (e.g., retail, marketing, healthcare, e-commerce) * Successful completion of certifications in data analysis and business intelligence tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau) **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Experience with languages used to control data and draw insights from large data sets (SQL, Python, Presto, etc.) * Strong storytelling experience with data visualizations in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc. * Experience with data quality tools like Google DataPlex (Collibra Data Quality or SAS Data Management or IBM InfoSphere Data Server) * Experience with quality testing using Selenium, Cucumber, or Tosca * Experience in building multi-step ETL jobs/data pipelines and working with workflow management systems * Experience with handling complex data on cloud platforms (ideally Google Bigquery and Hive) * Experience with data modeling (E-R) and have strong BI concepts * Fundamental understanding of statistics and AI models * Related knowledge in the retail or finance industries * Convincing, engaging oral and written communication skills and ability to build practical relationships * Willingness to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment **Benefits and Advantages** * Competitive salary package * Motivator grants for outstanding performance * 401(k) match * Stock purchase plan * Paid maternity and parental leave * PTO * Various health plans * And many more! **About arenaflex's Culture** arenaflex is an Equal Opportunity Employer – By Choice.
