As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for analyzing large datasets to inform our product suggestions and drive business decisions. Your expertise in web and cloud application development will enable you to design and implement data-driven solutions that improve our customers' experience. **Key Responsibilities** * Run unconditional exploratory data analysis to identify novel ideas and opportunities * Plan and run A/B tests of our latest suggestions algorithms * Proactively monitor our suggestion models to identify potential issues, determine underlying drivers, and resolve * Develop new tools that enable us to be more efficient and effective * Collaborate closely with our product, design, and AI partners to drive business outcomes * Present key findings and recommendations to cross-functional senior leaders across the organization **Essential Qualifications** * 2+ years of professional experience in a data science role (including any graduate education) * Experience with investigation or data science in e-commerce organizations is a strong plus * In-depth experience with SQL (including capabilities, query optimization, stored procedures, string parsing, Vertica/Hive/Voila/Flash, etc.) * In-depth experience with Python and Python libraries (Jupyter notebooks, functions, pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, etc.) * Experience with exploratory design (A/B tests) and statistical analysis to drive business navigation is highly desired * Experience with AI algorithms/strategies (decision trees, random forests, deep learning, etc.) within a business setting is highly desired **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field * Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) * Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) * Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to collaborate and proactively communicate with partners * Demonstrated history of taking ownership and driving outcomes * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment * Strong business acumen, logical abilities, and technical skills alongside critical thinking abilities **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
