As a Data Analyst on our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with large, messy datasets and develop creative solutions to drive business growth. **Job Responsibilities** As a Data Analyst on our Transportation Analytics crew, you'll be responsible for: * Working with large, messy, disparate datasets and performing ad-hoc analyses to inform essential business decisions * Creating ETLs or strategies that pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table * Developing data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and specific business challenges * Engaging with team members and cross-functional groups on a regular basis to establish credibility and drive results * Analyzing stakeholder needs and partnering with them to share relevant insights, including working with Operations, Finance, and Product groups on data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems * Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks for reporting (screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition) * Documenting your approaches and sharing your expertise with colleagues * Mentoring colleagues as you become a Subject Matter Expert **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration) * Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity * Creativity with a User Experience basis to develop impactful Tableau Dashboards * Business Operations Fluency, with the ability to recognize and root-cause business problems * A Supply Chain background, ideally with transportation experience * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally **Preferred Qualifications** * Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau * Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations * Experience with Python or other scripting languages * Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity * Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Python (or other scripting languages) * Experience with data visualization tools and techniques * Ability to mentor and train colleagues **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
