**Job Responsibilities**
As a Data Analyst at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:
* **Working with large, messy, disparate datasets**: You will analyze and manipulate data from various sources to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
* **Developing data visualization**: You will create impactful Tableau dashboards to display and quantify the effects of changes and specific business challenges.
* **Engaging with cross-functional teams**: You will collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems.
* **Leveraging scripting languages**: You will use Python (or other scripting languages) to automate tasks for reporting, such as screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition.
* **Documenting tactics and sharing expertise**: You will document your methods and share your knowledge with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert.
**Key Skills and Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* **Excellent SQL skills**: 2-4 years of experience with SQL, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity.
* **Creativity with a User Experience basis**: 1-2 years of experience with Tableau, with the ability to create impactful dashboards.
* **Business Operations Fluency**: Ability to recognize and root-cause business problems, with a Supply Chain background and transportation experience.
* **Excellent communication skills**: Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* **Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau**: Experience with data manipulation tools, such as Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
* **Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations**: Experience with scripting languages, such as Python.
* **Experience with data manipulation tools**: Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
