Experienced Full Stack Data Analyst – Financial Planning Systems (Part Time/Remote) at careerzynith

This position will be a part of our partner association within the Financial Planning Systems space. This job will require a diverse foundation of finance and IT experience. As a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning Systems, you'll be responsible for supporting and developing Financial Systems applications, as they apply to the Finance association, as well as serving as an internal advisor to those groups to identify automation opportunities and create/suggest suitable solutions.
**What you'll do**
* Upholds the Hyperion planning application, consistently, for forecast and actual financials
* Approves the data from Hyperion Financial Management and from regulators
* Explores and resolves issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions
* Upholds system maintenance; maintains client permissions
* Upholds clients with system issues, existing reports, forms, and models
* Helps with preparation of detailed scenarios and analytical results examinations on various complex financial issues and competitive industry analyses
* Facilitates and completes monthly headcount process regarding Hyperion
* Updates Hyperion Planning with order changes; coordinates progressive system changes with Regulators and GL organization
* Talks with work groups to determine reporting business needs; proposes and presents effective solutions
* Creates Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, as well as estimating and planning models for Finance divisions
**All you'll need for success**
* Minimum Qualifications Education and Prior Professional Experience
* College degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Systems or equivalent experience/training
* 2 years work experience in a Finance role, including experience with financial summaries, as well as financial modeling and analysis
* Strong IT foundation, including experience with Prophet and complex and social database structures
**Preferred Qualifications Education and Prior Professional Experience**
* Experience using Hyperion, as well as development and implementation experience (including Intelligent Disclosure, Essbase, Planning)
* Abilities, Licenses, and Certificates
* Ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of scientific methodologies relating to financial issues
* Ability to issue, troubleshoot, and analyze data
* Meticulous with focus on precision and ability to prioritize tasks
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and so on
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse situations
