Job Summary blithequark is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our Transportation Examination group, a critical part of our Business Intelligence (BI) team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of transportation by analyzing billions of data points to help clients make informed decisions quickly. Key Responsibilities Work with large, complex, and dynamic datasets to conduct ad-hoc analyses and inform critical business decisions quickly. Design and implement ETLs (Extract, Transform, Load) or processes that integrate data from multiple sources into a single table. Develop data visualizations to monitor and measure the impact of changes and special business challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, and Product, to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness across various projects and systems. Utilize scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks, such as reporting, data prioritization, and anomaly detection. Document processes and share knowledge with colleagues, mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics). Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to manipulate data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity. Creativity and a customer-centric approach to developing meaningful dashboards and visualizations. Business operations experience, with the ability to understand and analyze business issues. Supply chain background, preferably with transportation experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Preferred Qualifications Advanced experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with e-commerce operations or package carrier operations. Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages. Familiarity with data manipulation tools, such as Knime, Alteryx, R, or Data Prep.
