Experienced Full Stack Data Analyst – Business Intelligence and Analytics Expert for Paid Media Optimization

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our team as a Business Intelligence and Analytics Expert for Paid Media Optimization. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for supporting our paid media investigation capability to surface data-driven insights for our leadership team, focusing on streamlining our paid media spend globally. You will work closely with marketing teams to identify ways of working on the efficiencies of our paid media spend and develop detailing and investigations to inform and drive decisions, and develop KPIs and scorecards to track progress/execution to drive an emphasis on results and execution.
Key Responsibilities
Convey detailing and insights in the area of paid media
Plan and develop/lead the improvement of analytics, BI, and data science projects aimed at enhancing visible paid media and improving advertising efficiencies
Work with paid media analytics team and marketing teams on executing media blend models
Direct ad-hoc analysis through database querying, followed by smart understanding of results and the plan and communication of suggestions that drive action
Collaborate with marketing, finance, and product teams to handle business challenges, and track marketing and product execution with a data-driven approach
Influence Organized Query Language (SQL), MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, and other analytics tools to create and maintain planned and Adhoc reports
Examine data to identify business issues and lead deep dives to perform root cause analysis
Collaborate with partners to leverage data (internal data from Amazon and external data from market research and marketing agencies) and address complex business challenges by conveying significant insights
Conceptualize and run analysis that produce insights on customer behavior and customer needs to help further develop and improve our value proposition
Essential Capabilities
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential capabilities:
Experience in the field of Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting in an e-commerce or related field
High-level SQL experience
High-level experience in at least one industry analytics and measurement tool (e.g. Tableau/QuickSight/Power BI)
Master in Power BI with a proven track record
Degree in data science, business, finance, data engineering, statistics, mathematics, or other related field
Preferred Capabilities
While not essential, the following preferred capabilities would be beneficial for this role:

Strong inclination for action, highly organized, and ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal direction and tight deadlines

Experience with enrollment, membership-based, or media content organizations
Experience with and/or interest in learning more on state-of-the-art data science approaches
Programming languages: knowledge of Python
Knowledge of other programming languages, such as Java or C#, or of statistical programming languages like R or SAS
Knowledge of Adobe Analytics
