**The Role**

As the Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics, you'll be responsible for leading our Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and eliminating malicious actors, as well as our Business Investigation team in producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries around the world. You'll work closely with our Product Management and Design teams to develop and implement tools and systems to stay ahead of emerging threats, and with our Strategy Development team to create and update policies and guidelines to prevent harm on our platform.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and eliminating malicious actors, including account takeovers, spam, and other forms of abuse
* Lead the Business Investigation team in producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries around the world
* Collaborate with the Strategy Development team to create and update policies and guidelines to prevent harm on our platform
* Work closely with Product Management and Design teams to develop and implement tools and systems to stay ahead of emerging threats
* Develop and maintain relationships with key cross-functional partners to drive the development and implementation of new products and policies
* Manage accelerations with tight timelines to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
* Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging team members to think creatively and take calculated risks

**Essential Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)
* 4+ years of experience in a related field, including 2+ years of experience working with risk management, abuse fighting at scale, and building/conveying analytical models
* 2+ years of experience working with design teams that build data infrastructure and ML models
* 2+ years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard hours as accelerations require
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Experience with SQL, R, and/or Matlab

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics)
* 2+ years of experience with investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection
* Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities
* Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners
* Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
* Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools
