As a key member of our security operations team, you'll be responsible for responding to and managing cybersecurity incidents, analyzing malware, and conducting digital forensics. You'll work closely with our security analysts, incident responders, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate threats, and develop strategies to prevent future incidents. **Key Responsibilities** * Respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents, including malware analysis, digital forensics, and threat hunting * Analyze security logs, network traffic, and system data to identify potential security threats * Conduct incident response activities, including containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident activities * Collaborate with security analysts, incident responders, and other stakeholders to identify and mitigate threats * Develop and implement strategies to prevent future incidents, including vulnerability management and threat hunting * Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and recommend new tools and processes to improve our security posture * Participate in security awareness training and education programs to promote a culture of security within the organization * Work closely with our development team to ensure that security is integrated into the development lifecycle **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field * 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response, malware analysis, and digital forensics * Strong understanding of security operations, threat hunting, and vulnerability management * Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools, and other security technologies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders * Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements, including SOX, PCI, and GDPR **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field * 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response, malware analysis, and digital forensics * Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH * Experience with cloud security, DevOps, and containerization * Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning in cybersecurity **Skills and Competencies** * Strong understanding of security operations, threat hunting, and vulnerability management * Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems, security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) tools, and other security technologies * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders * Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements, including SOX, PCI, and GDPR * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
