**Key Responsibilities**
As a Network Protection Examiner Understudy, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes to develop high-quality technical solutions
* Ensuring solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business strategies, and compliance with departmental standards
* Managing timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementation to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget
* Serving as a resource to facilitate effective communication between business and IT groups
* Participating in system and acceptance testing
* Scope of work may vary depending on the project team
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, cybersecurity, information assurance)
* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity and risk management principles, theories, and practices
* Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm (desired)
* Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Administration, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) (desired)
* Basic knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement (desired)
* Major understanding of project management systems, including the ability to design, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program (desired)
* Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders (desired)
* Fundamental knowledge of technical environments (desired)
* Openness to Agile philosophies (desired)
* Coursework or experience related to cybersecurity (desired)
* Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines (desired)
* Past investigator entry-level position experience within the past year (desired)
* Experience resolving business problems in a capstone or case competition (desired)
