As a Customer Engineer in our Security association, you will play a critical role in developing our online protection business by building and growing associations with clients. Job Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Customer Engineer with expertise in security solutions and Google Cloud products. As a Customer Engineer, you will work with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions. You will be a trusted advisor to clients and a promoter for our security solutions, offering help to c-level, security leaders, developers, and analysts to lead projects forward. Key Responsibilities Work with Security Sales and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand client technical and compliance challenges, and develop strategies to address technical blockers. Work with all Google Cloud Security products to demonstrate and validate solution benefits in client and partner environments. Support Google Cloud Security opportunities and relationships, own technical aspects of solutions, and deliver technical presentations, product and solution briefings, proofs-of-concepts, and demos to clients, partners, and stakeholders. Develop and deliver product messaging to highlight our solutions' value using techniques including presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial administration, and response reports. Attend client sites, meetings, and other related events where relevant. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field. 10 years of experience in security or cloud local models in a client-facing role. Experience in network security (e.g., threat detection, malware knowledge, cloud security act management, or identity and access management systems). Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field. Certification in the Cloud or Security industry. Experience in implementing security solutions for enterprises (e.g., threat detection and hunting, malware knowledge, cloud security pose management, identity and access management systems, or SIEM and Take off). Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the cybersecurity industry (e.g., ransomware, assault structures, zero trust, etc.). Ability to speak openly and convey technical presentations. Excellent problem-solving, communication, presentation, and attention to detail skills.
