**Job Summary**

As a Customer Engineer in our Security team, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, promoting our security solutions, and providing expert guidance to C-level executives, security leaders, developers, and analysts. You'll work closely with our product marketing and design teams to stay ahead of industry trends and develop innovative solutions to meet client needs.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Collaborate with Security Deals and Google Cloud teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, resolve client technical and compliance issues, and develop strategies to overcome technical blockers.
* Work with all Google Cloud Security products to demonstrate and validate solution benefits in client and partner environments.
* Support Google Cloud Security opportunities and relationships, own technical aspects of solutions, and deliver technical presentations, product and solution briefings, proofs-of-concept, and demos to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
* Plan and deliver product messaging to highlight our solutions' value proposition using techniques such as presentations, product demonstrations, white papers, trial management, and response reports.
* Attend client sites, conferences, and other relevant events where applicable.

**Essential Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field).
* At least 4 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of cloud security concepts and technologies.
* Experience in network security (e.g., threat detection, malware analysis, cloud security management, or identity and access management frameworks).
* Strong technical skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Software Engineering, Design, Mathematics, or a related field).
* Certification in the Cloud or Security industry.
* Experience in conducting security assessments for clients (e.g., threat hunting, malware analysis, cloud security posture management, or SIEM and incident response).
* Knowledge of industry trends and market patterns in the network security space (e.g., ransomware, attack frameworks, zero trust, etc.).
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
