Job Summary The Provider Data Entry Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of provider demographic and contract affiliation information within the health plan system. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, efficiency in processing incoming requests, and a strong commitment to optimizing claims adjudication. As a Provider Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and financial accuracy of provider records, supporting system integration efforts, and providing training to existing staff and new hires. Key Responsibilities Receive provider information from external sources and validate the provided data to ensure accuracy and completeness Perform accurate and timely data entry and maintenance of provider records in the computer system Conduct regular audits of loaded provider records to ensure quality and financial accuracy, providing documented feedback when necessary Support system/health plan integration efforts and participate in system-related testing activities Provide training to existing staff and new hires on provider data entry and maintenance procedures Establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent GED and have at least 1+ years of managed care experience and/or medical office experience with coding or credentialing experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills, adherence to Managed Care Organization's policies and confidentiality requirements, and reliable attendance based on the agreed-upon schedule are also essential.
