We are excited to announce two remote positions for an Experienced Freight Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a fully remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with occasional in-office training sessions. Our office is located in Conklin, New York, and we are looking for candidates who are local to the Southern Tier of New York or Northeast Pennsylvania.
Job Summary
The Experienced Freight Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for processing accounts, determining proper charges, and accurately entering information into our systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities
Process accounts and determine proper charges using a computer calculator and our client systems.
Accurately enter information into our systems, including rates, mileage, and overflow charges.
Review accounts and determine their appropriate classification.
Use internet search engines (e.g., Google) to determine account connections and combine multiple accounts into one for our clients' customers.
Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Work to achieve and maintain acceptable rates and quality to meet or exceed customer requirements.
Potentially assist in the training of employees to perform the job.
Be willing to receive constructive feedback with an objective, open mind.
Be willing to be cross-trained in other departments to meet company daily production commitments.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Complete all required Compliance Training within the scheduled time.
Actively participate in overtime requirements within the scope of company policies and procedures.
Requirements
Previous data entry experience is a plus, but not required.
Microsoft Office experience is preferred.
File sharing experience is preferred.
High-speed internet is required.
All equipment is provided, including a PC, monitors, keyboard, and mouse.
High school diploma or GED is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
