Why You'll Love This Job This position will be part of our partner association within the Financial Planning Systems space at arenaflex. The role requires a mixed background of finance and IT experience. As a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning Systems, you will be responsible for supporting and developing Financial Systems applications, acting as an internal consultant to various groups to identify automation opportunities and develop/provide suitable solutions. Key Responsibilities Support the Hyperion planning application, consistently, for forecast and actual financials Validate the data from Hyperion Financial Management and from regulators Investigate and resolve issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions Maintain system maintenance; keep up with user permissions Support clients with system issues, existing reports, forms, and models Assist in the preparation of in-depth situations and analytical results analyses on various complex financial issues and competitive industry analyses Coordinate and complete the monthly headcount process regarding Hyperion Update Hyperion Planning with organizational changes; coordinate hierarchical system changes with Regulators and GL organization Communicate with work groups to determine reporting business requirements; propose and present efficient solutions Create Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, as well as forecasting and planning models for Finance divisions Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems, or equivalent experience/training 2 years of work experience in a Finance role, including experience with financial statements, as well as financial modeling and analysis Solid IT background, including experience with Oracle and multi-dimensional and relational database structures Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience using Hyperion, as well as development and implementation experience (including Business Intelligence, Essbase, Planning) Skills and Competencies To excel in this position, you will need: Ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of analytical approaches relating to financial issues Ability to issue solve, module, and analyze data Meticulous with a focus on accuracy and ability to prioritize tasks Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and more Strong communication skills Excellent collaboration skills with proven ability to work effectively in diverse situations What You'll Get At arenaflex, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical benefits: access to health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits from day one Wellness programs: tools, resources, and support to help you be your best self 401(k) program: available upon hire, with employer contributions available after one year Additional benefits: Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, cars, cruises, and more Join the arenaflex Family At arenaflex, we believe in fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
