About the Role We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst and Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and contribute to the success of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, data entry, and vendor management, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Create a Canada figure for merchant discount income and track monthly performance against forecast, identifying drivers of change. Develop merchant discount income scorecards for the Canada region. Drive standardization and process improvement among the different regional pricing groups for all reporting and forecasting related activities. Support external audits, including investigating issues found, contacting the regional pricing groups that manage the merchant relationship to discuss issues, and managing resolutions. Perform ad-hoc data analysis to assess discount rate trends and uncover insights. Essential Qualifications 2+ years of experience in financial services or payments industry, and/or other financial roles are desired. Bachelor's degree required; strongly preferred in finance/Accounting/Business. High proficiency with Excel is required. Strong attention to detail and organization. Strong aptitude for analysis; demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models and draw value-added insights from a large amount of financial data. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SAS/SQL) is required. Excellent communication skills - both written and oral. Preferred Qualifications Strong relationship management and collaboration skills with the ability to influence others in situations where there may be multiple objectives. Strong work ethic with an extreme will-to-win, ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, which puts a premium on driving results. An innovative thinker who will challenge conventional approaches to getting things done and develop new ways to approach old challenges. Strong project management skills with full ownership from analysis through to execution. Passionate focus on the customer; demonstrated desire to understand and address customer needs and pain points. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize accordingly.
