We're seeking an experienced Finance Professional to join our Investor Relations (IR) team at American Express in New York. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in developing and executing a proactive financial investor relations program that drives business success. Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Professional on our IR team, your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing a comprehensive financial investor relations program that aligns with our company's strategic objectives
Creating commitment prioritization and outlining associations with key external partners
Designing and delivering applicable financial investor materials, including investor presentations, earnings releases, and quarterly updates
Overseeing coordinated operations and timetable preparation, including investor gatherings and events
Upholding existing IR expectations, including profit interaction, investor and analyst gatherings, and investor communications
Leading a team of one direct report to support the development of the new program
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with external and internal partners
Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong logical abilities and capacity to oversee and absorb large amounts of data
Ability to demonstrate exceptional skill and integrity in connection with financial local area, senior administration, and internal partners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint

Experience in financial investor relations, with a strong understanding of financial markets and investor dynamics
Knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory requirements, including SEC guidelines and regulations
