**Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities**
As an Evening Specimen Processor - Data Entry - Part-Time, you'll play a vital role in the patient care process by ensuring laboratory specimens are properly received and routed for testing. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Performing data entry for lab requests, double-checking test orders, and recognizing when corrective action is needed
* Working in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and adhering to PPE requirements
* Championing safety, compliance, and quality control
* Providing exceptional patient care without being face-to-face
**Essential Qualifications**
To excel in this role, you'll need:
* A High School Diploma or equivalent
* Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
* Typing proficiency, including 10-key
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, having the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
* 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
* Data entry experience in a production environment
