Our team is comprised of talented individuals who share a common goal: to deliver exceptional results and make a meaningful impact. **Job Summary** As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Merchandise Planning Analytics team. You'll be responsible for managing and analyzing large datasets, creating reports, and providing insights to inform business decisions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving team and contribute to the growth and success of arenaflex. **Work Environment** As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States, with a focus on the Central Standard Time (CST) zone. You'll be expected to work a standard 8-hour day, with a one-hour lunch break from 12 pm to 1 pm. While the hours can be flexible, you'll need to commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week to meet the business needs. **Responsibilities** As an Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk, your key responsibilities will include: * Managing and analyzing large datasets, including Own Brand (private label) reporting, recapping, tracking, and analysis * Conducting ad-hoc analysis based on business needs, using complex Excel formulas and data synthesis techniques * Creating reports and providing insights to inform business decisions, using Microsoft Excel and other tools * Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Planning, Finance, and other stakeholders * Developing effective working relationships and communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing * Managing and prioritizing multiple assignments and meeting tight deadlines * Adapting to changing work priorities and working independently **Top Must-Have Skills** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as analytics, data science, finance, financial analysis, assortment planning, retail, procurement/purchasing, or merchandising * At least 3-5 years of experience in data analytics or a related field, with a strong understanding of retail merchandising basics and merchandising organization structures and processes * Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with storytelling finesse * Ability to conduct complex quantitative analysis and build analytical models using Microsoft Excel * Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbally and in writing, using Microsoft PowerPoint * Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines * Ability to develop effective working relationships with Merchandising, Planning, Finance, and other stakeholders * Ability to work independently and adapt to changing work priorities * Retail math background, including item-level forecasting, sales by type, and AUR impacts * Intermediate/Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel, including SUM/SUMIFS, Subtotals, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Macros, and Pivot tables **Top Nice-to-Have Skills** While not essential, the following skills would be highly desirable: * MBA or a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) degree * Data science experience * Retail experience * SQL coding, Microsoft Access, and Macro building **Education / Experience Requirements** To be considered for this role, you'll need to have at least 3-5 years of experience in analytics or data science, with a merchandising background. **What We Offer** As an arenaflex employee, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including: * Competitive salary and benefits package * Flexible remote work arrangements * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **How to Apply** If you're a motivated individual with a passion for data analysis and a desire to contribute to a thriving team, we encourage you to apply now!
