Fetch Pet Care of Seattle North is seeking a reliable and compassionate Dog Walker & Pet Sitter to join our team in Queen Anne and Ballard. About Fetch Pet Care Fetch Pet Care is a leading pet care company dedicated to providing top-notch dog walking and pet sitting services to pet owners in Seattle. Our mission is to give pets the exercise, attention, and love they deserve while their owners are away. With a team of passionate and experienced pet care professionals, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and building strong relationships with our clients and their pets. Key Responsibilities Provide dog walking services to clients in Queen Anne and Ballard, ensuring the physical and mental well-being of the dogs in our care. Offer pet sitting services in the client's home, providing TLC to a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. Administer medication, feed, and provide fresh water to pets as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets during pet sitting visits. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pet's needs, activities, and any issues that may arise. Be available to work flexible hours, including weekdays between 8 am and 8 pm, and occasional overnight stays. Provide services on holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve through New Year's Day. Essential Qualifications Live within 3 miles of Ballard, Fremont, Queen Anne, or Magnolia. Be at least 18 years old (required by our insurance provider). Have reliable transportation and be able to travel to client locations. Be able to walk dogs outdoors for 20-60 minutes per session, multiple times per day. Be compassionate, patient, and reliable in your interactions with pets and clients. Be capable of handling dogs of all sizes, from small to large. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a pet sitter or dog walker. Ability to provide overnight pet sitting services. Knowledge of pet first aid and CPR. Certifications or training in pet care, such as pet sitting or dog walking certifications. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for animal care. You'll also need to be reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality when working in clients' homes.
