**Experienced Dock Operations Specialist – Freight Handling and Logistics Support**

If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for logistics, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Job Summary:** As an Experienced Dock Operations Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to freight handling, including loading and unloading freight from trailers, verifying documentation, and securing freight for transport. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all freight is handled safely and efficiently, and that our customers receive the highest level of service. **Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:** * Perform freight handling using appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. * Verify documentation matches freight description, using current electronic or manual systems. * Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies, such as pallets, straps, and rope. * Recoup or repair damaged freight when necessary. * Verify and complete required documentation and reports. * Assist customers with freight and freight documentation as needed. * Perform hostling duties if required. * Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures. * Perform other duties as required. **Key Responsibilities:** * Freight Handling: Load and unload freight from trailers, using a variety of equipment and techniques. * Documentation: Verify that freight documentation matches the actual freight, using electronic or manual systems. * Security: Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies. * Customer Service: Assist customers with freight and freight documentation as needed. * Safety: Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. **Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent, preferred. * Must be at least 18 years of age. * Prior experience in warehousing, freight handling, and/or forklift operations preferred. * If hostler/yard mule duties are required, experience preferred. * Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator. * Basic written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to lift and carry hand freight of varying weights several times a week, to lift dock plates weighing approximately 100 pounds, and to open trailer doors requiring approximately 75 pounds of lift force, up to several times per day or more. * Ability to bend, twist, squat, pushing/pulling freight throughout the shift. * Ability to work independently and/or as a team member. * Previous dock/warehouse experience preferred. **Working Conditions:** * Dock environment; exposure to varied weather conditions, exhaust, fumes, dust, and noise. * Hours may vary due to operational need. * Frequent contact with service center personnel; fast-paced, deadline-oriented. **Why Join arenaflex?** * Competitive compensation and benefits package. * Opportunities for career growth and professional development. * Collaborative and dynamic work environment. * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance. * Comprehensive training and support to ensure success. **How to Apply:** If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for logistics, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
